How It Works
Ordering
If your child is in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2 you are entitled to UIFSM (Universal Infant Free School Meals) therefore you do not need to order any meals in advance. Please check with your school office on their ordering procedure for UIFSM or call Emma at The Easy Lunch Company for more details.
If you require a vegetarian meal each day or have a special meal requirement you must contact Emma on 01403 741177.
- If your child is in Year 3,4,5,6 all meals cost £2.35.
- To order a meal you can register on line or download an order form to hand into your school office.
- Payment is made at the time of ordering.
- Online orders are paid for by credit/debit card using our credit top up system.
- Online booking must be made 9 days in advance; for example, if you want a meal on Monday 22 September you must order it by midnight on Saturday 13 September.
- Order forms must be handed in to the school office by 9am on a Wednesday for any meals the following week; payments must be made by cash or cheque (minimum payment £20.00).
Cancelling
Sickness
If your child is sick you can cancel a meal by 9am on the day and receive a credit. Cancellations can be made by telephone (answerphone), text or email.
Trips
If your child is going on a trip you need to cancel your meal 9 days in advance to receive a credit – the same deadline as online booking. To cancel the meal scroll through the meals on that day until the box is blank.
Special Meal Requirements
If your child requires a special meal due to an allergy please contact Emma on 01403 741177. You may be asked to provide a medical letter to accompany your request.
Free School Meals
If you think you may be entitled to Free School Meals due to low income or receiving certain benefits contact West Sussex County Council on 01243 752835 to check. If you are you will need to fill out a form and then confirmation will be sent to your school, to book your meals call Emma on 01403 741177.
